Bushmills

Bushmills is a blend of Single Malt Irish Whiskey and Single Grain Irish Whiskey, all produced in the same distillery. The barley, whether malted or not, is dried in closed ovens, so as not to transfer the smoky flavour to the raw material, which is later distilled three times.

The liquid resulting from this process is then placed into selected casks where it is left to rest for 5 years in dark and quiet storehouses. This is basically the same formula used for producing all Irish whiskeys, save the longer or shorter time it is kept in the casks.
